My why
Cool Bandanas NZ began as a way to celebrate the aroha (love) between people and their kurī (dogs).
Inspired by the koru, a symbol of new beginnings, my small business represents a new chapter for me, continuing to unfurl and grow with the tautoko (support) of fellow dog lovers.
Hīkoi(walks), muddy paws, quiet cuddles, photos and social posts are all treasured by owners and our dogs.
Those special moments can be even more image-worthy with a bespoke bandana, designed to highlight your pet’s personality and style.

My mahi
Every bandana is made by me, the dog-loving business owner, with final approval from my fluffy CEO.
Each creation is carefully crafted, from choosing the perfect print to the final stitch.
I have an unapologetic focus on thoughtful design, quality, comfort and style to make sure every piece is just right.
From popular Kiwiana prints, cartoons and limited-edition fabrics, to prints supporting sports teams, whether subtle or bold, you can choose the one which says “stylish dog coming through”.
My story
This all began after I started making bandanas for my own dog.
Lola was soon getting noticed when we were out and about, with compliments and questions about where to buy the ‘cool bandanas’.
Those enquiries inspired me to start a small business creating bandanas for other people’s dogs.
My aim is to create something special, comfortable, and durable for dogs living their best lives.

Who we support
As a dog owner myself, I appreciate the mahi (work) others do to help animals across Aotearoa (New Zealand).
In particular, I am proud to tautoko (support) two special organisations by donating bandanas to them.
Pet Refuge NZ provides safe shelter for pets while whānau (families) escape unsafe situations.
Pound Paws Rescue NZ rescues and rehomes animals in need of a second chance.
